B. H. Sabin died, of congestion of the brain, at his residence in Grandview, March 26, after an illness of four weeks. He was buried Saturday March 28th in the Grandview cemetery. All that living friends and the skill of his physician could devise to restore him to health were of no avail.

Mr. Sabin was a member of the Sons of Veterans and was buried with the honors of the order by his brothers of the Camp at Grandview assisted by members of the Grand Army and a delegation of the Sons of Veterans from Fruitland. the funeral sermon was preached by Rev. G. L. Bruckenmyer the Division Chaplain of the order. A large concourse of people attended both at the church and the cemetery. Mr. Sabin leaves a wife and and four small children, a widowed mother and one sister to mourn his loss.
