On that same day (last Saturday) Geo. Buchanan died and was buried Sunday at Long Creek burying grounds. He was 80 years old and he well remembered, though only three yeas old, having seen his father return from the war of 1812. He was a Presbyterian and was always faithful to the convictions of his mind.
