Grandview, June 26 - Miss Carrie Kent died last Saturday evening. Her illness was of short duration and her friends did not realize her dangerous condition until her death. She had been organist a number of years in the different churches and was always willing to help in any worthy enterprise. She was 20 years of age and the oldest daughter of J.L. Kent. The funeral was held Monday morning conducted by Rev. Brakemeyer. Although the weather was oppressive there was a large turnout.
