Mrs. Lorina Pffeifer died at her home in Wapello last Saturday, aged 72 years. She was born in Pennsylvania but came to this state many years ago. She was the mother of eleven children several of whom are living with her aged husband to mourn her loss. She was in poor health for some time but reached a good old age. She was a member of the free Methodist church. Her funeral sermon was preached at the family residence on Sunday by Rev. Knehaus, of the German M. E. church, and her remains deposited in the family lot at the city cemetery.
