Mrs. Hattie Jamison, widow of Samuel Jamison, died at her home five mile South of Wapello, last Sunday morning, of quick consumption. Her amide name was Lipoe. She was born in he State of New York in 1834, and was married to Mr. Jamison in 1857, being his fourth wife. Nine children were born to them, of whom only three survive, all sons. Her husband died fifteen years ago, Feb. 18th. The funeral services of Mrs. Jamison were held at the Bethel church on Monday the 17th and a very large circle of friends and acquaintances.

Her youngest son Charles, aged eighteen years, is deaf and has been in the Council Bluffs school for several years.
