George Philip Weiderrecht, an aged resident and prominent citizen of Louisa county and father of Philip Weiderrecht, a member of the present board of supervisors, passed away at the home of his son in Jefferson township Tuesday afternoon. He was 91 years, 4 months and 19 days of age. The decendent was born in Germany. For the past half a century or more he had been a resident of Louisa county. His wife preceded him in death a year ago. The funeral will be held from the home of the son at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. David Froeschle, pastor pf the German Methodist Episcopal church of Wapello, will conduct the services. Mr. Weiderrecht is survived by three children, William of Davenport, Phillip of Jefferson township and Mrs. Kate Potter, wife of Kossuth Potter, of Wapello.
