The angel of death has again entered a home in this city and summoned to her eternal home a kind an loving mother in the person of Mrs. Daisy O'Conner, who died at an early hour Wednesday morning, November 27, 1912. Daisy Russell was born in Columbus Junction May 18, 1877 and at the time of her death was 35 years, 6 months and 9 days of age. Early in life she was converted to the Christian faith and united with the M. E. church. Her entire life has been spent in this city. She graduated from the local high school with the class of 1895 and at the time of her death she was one of the prominent leaders of the W. R. C. She was taken sick about two weeks ago, but the disease baffled the skill of the physicians,

She is survived by four children, two sons, Leonard and Russell and two daughters, Ferol and Audrienne. Leonard the oldest child is 16 and Aurienne, the youngest if 6 years of age. She is also survived by her father, J. J. Russell and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Thompson, of Burlington and Mrs. F. N. Wilcox of Davenport and two brothers, George Russell of Painview, Texas and Harry of Des Moines, Iowa. The funeral services will be private and will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. A. W. McBlain of the M. E. church. Interment in the cemetery at Columbus City.
