Ralph D. Huff

Ralph Dana Huff, 82, a retired farmer died Thursday, Dex. 25, 1986 at his rural Wapello home. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 1986 at Fairview Community Church in rural Wapello, with the Revs. Brown Garlock and Willard Courtney officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello was in charge of arrangements.

A general memorial has been established.

Music was by organist, Kathleen Hagele and soloist Gladys Davis.

Mr. Huff was born in Missouri on October 21, 1904, the son of Charles and Amanda (Wilson) Huff. He married Susanna Hamilton on Dec. 11, 1929 in Burlington. He farmed on various farms in southeast Iowa. They have lived near Wapello since 1957.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter Charlotte Bonnicksen of Columbus Junction; two sons, Charles and Robert Huff, both of Crawfordsville, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and four step grandchildren, one sister, Naomi Allen of Mediapolis and a brother, Charles Fran Huff of Houston, Ark.
