P.M. Reich dead. An old citizen of Letts died in a hospital at Muscatine, Saturday evening. He was born in New York in 1826; came to Iowa when a young man, in time to join the great California procession in 1849. Was there for many years, returning to Iowa twenty-five years or more ago. He is survived by his wife and three step daughters, Mrs. Robert Wilson, Mrs. Dr. Armentrout and Miss Olive Henderson. The funeral was held at Letts Thursday; interment at that place. He was a man who stood well in the community and was a prominent member of the Masonic order.
