Jacob Riggle, an old resident of Morning Sun township, died very suddenly at his home Sunday afternoon. He had been ailing quite a while but seemed better until a couple of weeks ago when he was taken seriously ill, the end coming soon. He had lived in the neighborhood for about forty-five years, coming there from Ohio. Was the father of a large family, mostly boys. His wife has been dead a number of years. He made his home with his son, Lee and wife, who occupy the old homestead. He was upward of seventy years of age.
