Velma Pauline, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Chas, Willmering, died at their home in this place Tuesday, January 29, at about 7:20 p. m., after an illness of one week of pneumonia. Her age was six months and nine days. She was always a delicate child, but for several weeks before she was seized with this illness she seemed to be growing stronger and her death comes as a heavy blow to the parents, brothers and sisters. The funeral services will be held at the home on West Hill at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Vance of the Presbyterian church and interment will be at Columbus City. Mr. Willmering was in Texas at the time of the baby's death and did not reach home until Wednesday evening.
