Morning Sun, January 29 - Mrs. Caroline Delzell, wife of William Delzell, died at her home north of town on Wednesday night. She had been in poor health for a long time. She was an estimable woman and had been almost a lifelong member of the M. E. church and was a regular attendant when health permitted. He maiden name was Curran and she leaves a brother and sister; John Curran and Mrs. Sarah Mellinger; also seven children Ida Bucher of Spring Run, Frank at home, Carried Hayden of Oakville, George of Morning Sun, Isaac near Fairview, Wesley of Bloomfield and Blanche Beane of Wapello. The funeral services were held at the home, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Zimmerman. interment in the old cemetery, north of town.
