Morning Sun, January 8 - The funeral services of Mr. Thomas Garvin, who died January 1 were held in the Convenanter church on the third, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Trumbull, assisted by Revs. Smith and Mackey. Interment in Elmwood cemetery. He left a wife, one son and four daughters; Mrs. Mary Caughey of Omaha, W. B. Garvin, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Hewitt. Mr. Garvin was eighty-seven years and one week old and was a lifelong member of the Covenanter church.
