Mrs. Robert McCurdy has died. Miss Elizabeth Welling was born July 1, 1818, in Harrison county, Ohio. She was married to Robert McCurdy November 3, 1842. Seven children were born to this union, six of whom survive, namely, Daniel, of Quincy, Ill.; Rebecca Jane Jones, of Mansion, S. D.; Wilson, of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; Lewis Cass, of Seattle, Wash.; Allen, of Conesville; Minerva Moffitt, of Madison, S. D. The other died in infancy. All except Cass and Minerva were present at the funeral services held Wednesday at the Grace Reformed church of which the departed mother was a charter member. She joined by letter from the Presbyterian church in Coshocton county, Ohio when the Reformed church was organized by Rev. J. H. Buser in the 60's. Rev. Lefever, of Columbus Junction, preached the funeral sermon from Philippians 1:21. The pall bearers were old neighbors, John Gay, G. W. McKee, H. Jarrard, V. Cecil, Ira Owen and John Gunderson.
