Wapello, February 14- Mrs. Lillian Essner who has been suffering for the past month with heart trouble, passed away at the home of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Korn, Friday evening at the age of thirty-eight years. Mrs. Essner was born and raised in Wapello, a consistent member of the Christian church of this place and a woman respected and loved by all. Besides the aged mother, she leaves to mourn her loss, one son and one sister, Mrs. Thomas Peters, of this city. Funeral services were held from the Christian church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Chas. Blanchard. interment in the Wapello cemetery.
