Death of Mrs. Jacob Super.

Mrs. Mary Super died at the home of her son, John, yesterday morning, February 14, at 4 o'clock. Her maiden name was VanEleit. She was born in Monroe county, Penna., December 8, 1842. In 1868, September 13, she was married to Jacob Super, who survives her. With him she came to Iowa the following year, settling in Elm Grove township which continued to be their home until two years since when they retired from active business and have been making their home with their sons since that time. Two weeks ago they returned from a visit with their eldest son who lies in Stroudsburg, Penna. There were born to them three sons, all surviving her. The other son besides the ones mentioned is C. B. Super of Indianola. The funeral will occur at 11 o'clock Friday. Short services will be held at the house after which regular services will be held in the U. B. church, Columbus City; conducted by Rev. J. C. Kendrick; interment to follow in the cemetery near by.
