Conesville, January 30 - The funeral of the late Lilburn Moyer, which was held at the Grace Reformed church Monday afternoon, was largely attended by friends and neighbors who had come to pay their last respects to poor Lilburn who had suffered so greatly so many years. His age at death was thirty-one years lacking three days.

Lilburn Allen Moyer was born January 30, 1875 at Conesville, Iowa and died January 27, 1906, at Mt Pleasant, Iowa. He leaves to mourn his loss his father, mother, six brothers and two sisters. Lilburn had been greatly afflicted with cancer of the face for about six years and no one but himself knew what he suffered, but he bore his suffering with great fortitude. He was a good, kind boy and was well thought of by all those who knew him, and had many friends in this vicinity to mourn his departure. Funeral services were held at the Reformed church at Conesville Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. F. R. Lefever of Columbus Junction; burial took place at the Conesville cemetery.
