Wapello, Aug. 15- Mrs. Libbie Saunders-Westerman died at her home in Wapello, early Sunday morning, August 13, 1905. She was a good woman and enjoyed the esteem and friendship of all our citizens. The funeral services occurred from the Presbyterian church, Monday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. H. Cooper.

2nd story page 8 - Mrs. Elizabeth Westerman of this city who has been in very feeble health for some time past of consumption, died at her home at 4 o'clock Sunday morning. her death was rather unexpected to her friends, as her condition was not supposed to be critical.

Mrs. Westerman was born on the 1st day of November, 1855, in Mercer county, Illinois and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Saunders. At the early age of one year she came with her parents to Louisa county, Iowa where she has resided continuously ever since. On the 20th of December 1900 was married to Henry Westerman and the two have resided in Wapello since that time, making their home in the southern part of the city. Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church, having united with that organization some moths ago. She was also a member of the Wapello Relief Corp.

The funeral was held from the Presbyterian church Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. H. Cooper and the remains were interred in the Wapello cemetery.
