The many friends of Bertram Green were shocked to hear of his death, which occurred last week in Portland, Oregon, whither he had gone in search of health, last November. The remains were brought to Winfield, Monday. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 21, at 11 o'clock at the Presbyterian church. Interment in Oakland cemetery. His young wife, who returned with the remains, has the sympathy of a host of friends. She was formerly Miss Lucy Neal, of Columbus City.
