The people here were very much surprised to hear of the death of Miss Ruth Wallingford. She leaves a father and mother to mourn the loss of their only child. Ruth was in the seventh grade in our school and was a member of the Presbyterian Sunday school. She leaves many friends, schoolmates and relatives to mourn the loss of their sweet little playmate and friend. She had suffered for some time with rheumatism of the heart, til at last the good Lord called her to the beautiful shore beyond.
