After an illness extending over a period of eight weeks, Mrs. Mollie Wagner, died at her home near Letts, Louisa county, Iowa, Thursday January 26, 1905 at 6:30 a. m. Mrs. Wagner is survived by her husband and two children; Fay, aged sixteen and Mildred aged eleven. Mrs. Wagner was born in Louisa county, Iowa, in 1865 and at the time of her death was thirty-nine years of age. All that was possible was done by her husband and friends to relieve her suffering and minister to her comfort during her illness, but the edict of God having gone forth her spirit returned to its Creator.

Mrs. Wagner was converted at an early period in life and connected herself with the church of the United Brethren in Christ at Letts, Iowa. In this church she has been a consistent member for fifteen years, filling many positions of trust an responsibility in the service of the church; as Sunday school superintendent, as parsonage trustee, as delegate to the last two sessions of the Iowa conference of the U. B. church and as nominee for delegate to the general conference at Topeka, Kansas, in May. She has been conspicuous in church work and tireless in her efforts to promote the kingdom of God in the earth. Her friendships were true and lasting. Her devotion to her family was touching and beautiful. The closing days were days of perfect peace and a joyous anticipation of a glorious immortality, sweetly she gathered her loved ones about her and spoke the tender farewell. We look to God for a happy meeting in our Fathers house at last.
