William Dobbs died at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Foster, in Wapello, last Sunday evening, quite suddenly. Mrs. Foster and daughter had just returned from church and spoke to him, when he essayed to rise out of his chair, when he was taken with an apoplectic seizure, to which he was subject, and he expired during the attack. Funeral services occurred at his late home Tuesday, conducted by Rev. W. H. Cooper.
