Jeremiah Krahl was born in the state of Pennsylvania November 19, 1845, and died at his home in Grandview, March 19, 1904, aged fifty-eight years and four months. He was united in marriage to Anna Stineman February 2, 1871, who, with four children, two brothers and one sister lives to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. He was converted in early life and at joined the United Evangelical church of which body he was a conscious member until death. Funeral services were conducted from the United Evangelical church sabbath afternoon where a large crowd assembled to pay their last tribute of respect. The cause of death was a stroke of apoplexy nearly two months ago, from which he never fully recovered. The funeral conducted by Rev. L. H. Week.
