James E. Gentzler was born November 20, 1868, and died February 7, 1904, being something over thirty-five years of age at the time of his death. He had been an invalid and constant sufferer for about three years and bedfast most of the time. Two years ago last December he sought and found the Lord and since then he had found him most precious, ever leaning on him during his sufferings until, at last, he was called home. There is left to mourn his departure a father, mother, two sisters, a brother, an aged grandmother and other relatives. The funeral was from the U. B. church, Tuesday, February 8, conducted by the pastor.
