Mrs. Lucina A. Johnston died at her home in Columbus City Sunday morning about 1:30 o'clock. She was eighty-two years of age and had been a widow for more than twenty years, her husband, Joseph Johnston, having died in January, 1882. She left no children except an adopted daughter, Mrs. Frank P. Crouse of Centerville, who with her husband, came and took care of Mrs. Johnston in her last illness. The funeral was held from her late home on Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. B, McCray, a retired U. P. Minister, eighty-four years of age. Interment in Columbus City cemetery.
