Columbus Junction, Ia. Nov 26 -
The funeral services of Daniel Felix McCarthy, of two miles east of Ainsworth, were held at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Columbus Junction, at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning and were conducted by Rev. Father Hauser, Columbus City cemetery.

Mr. McCarthy died quite suddenly Monday. He had had heart trouble the past six years. He was born in Massachusetts March 1. 1859, and came to Iowa in 1861. One sister, Mrs. Ella Thompson, survives, also two nephews, Arthur McCarthy, of Columbus Junction, and Dan, of Seattle, Washington.
