Mrs. Mary Henderson Wilson was born in Louisa county, Iowa, January 26, 1854. She departed this life Thursday, October 30, 1902. She had attained the age of forty-eight years, nine months and four days. She became to wife of Mr. Flemington Wilson on February 14, 1877. To them were born four daughters; Blanche Wilson Long of Worthington, Minnesota, Maud, Zella and Frances, of Morning Sun. Early in life she became a Christian and united with the Methodist church of Virginia Grove. In 1897 she, with the other members of the family, united with the Presbyterian church of Morning Sun. She was ever a faithful and consistent follower of Jesus Christ. The funeral was from her late residence, November 1, 1902, conducted by her pastor and was largely attended.
