After many weary months of suffering, Miss Margaret Davis, daughter of D. D. Davis, south of Columbus City, is at rest. She breathed her last Monday last. On Tuesday all that was left of her was laid to rest in the Cambrain cemetery. Services followed conducted by Rev. Jenkins assisted by Rev. W. M. Jones. She was the youngest of four daughters; the surviving one being Mesdames J. M. Williams, J. M. Morgan and T. J. Thomas. The two brothers, D. E. and T.L. Davis survive her. Her mother preceded her six years, making her loss a severe one to the family. Through her long days and weeks of suffering she was supported by a Christian resignation that allowed no complaints to escape her.
