Wapello, March 6- Mrs. J. B. McCullough died at her home in this city Sunday morning, March 3, 1901, at about one o'clock, after and extended illness. She left her husband one one son of her immediate family to mourn her demise, besides numerous other relatives and a large circle of friends. The funeral obsequies occurred from the home Monday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Matthews in presence of large concourse of friends.

At last Mrs. Mary McCullough's sufferings are over. After years of suffering, death came to her relief Sunday, March 3, 1901. Mary Davison was born in Washington county, Pa., November 2, 1839. The next year she came with her parents to Iowa. In 1872 she was married to J. B. McCullough. The husband, one son, Roy, and three brothers, Hiram B. of this place; Austin of Wichita, and Joiner, survive her. Her father, Mark Davison, died only a few years ago. The funeral services were held at the home Monday at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. R. J. L. Mathews of Presbyterian church. Interment was made in the Wapello cemetery by the side of her daughter Blanche, who died in 1887.
