Orono, November 20 - Tuesday evening, November 13, 1900, The spirit of Gracie May Horton, was released and returned to the God who gave it. She was born September 7, 1888. The eldest and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Horton, who with their little son, Fred, mourn the loss. She had been in declining health for several months, the disease, consumption. The funeral services were held from the Reformed church, Thursday, November 15. Rev. Taylor, pastor of the M. E. church, Columbus City, officiated. Interment in the village cemetery.
