The community was shocked last Wednesday by the news of the death of Mrs. J. A, McKee. She had been sick for some time and last Monday was taken to the hospital at Iowa City to undergo an operation which proved fatal. The remains were brought home Wednesday evening and the funeral services were held Thursday afternoon.
