Letts, August 31 - The end came at last. Mrs. Laura Neal Armentrout, wife of Dr. G. W. Armentrout, passed into that sleep that knows no earthly waking last Saturday at the residence of her father, Mr. H. Neal, three miles north of town. Her departure from this world of disappointments was a peaceful one. She lingered long and patiently until the Master called her. Mrs. Armentrout was 29 years old. She was beloved by all that knew her and always had a pleasant word for everybody. All business houses in town were closed during the funeral to show the respect for one that was loved by the whole community. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Bevans, at the M. E. church Monday at 11 o'clock, interment in Letts cemetery.
