On Thursday, August 26, 1897, Mrs. Ona Kuder Talor of the county and formerly of this place, passed to her rest. The interment took place at the Indian Creek cemetery on Saturday, August 28. Services were conducted by Rev. A. B. Cooper, pastor of the deceased. Though the day was sultry and the roads dusty, a large number gathered to pay their last respects. Ona Kuder Taylor was born May 6, 1863. On April 27, 1892, she was united in marriage to Chas. G. Taylor. As a result of this union, three children were born to them, Helen Pauline, George Kuder-deceased- and an infant son now five weeks old. There are left to mourn her loss a husband and two children, a father, mother, five brothers and four sisters.
