George Blaze, the 21-year-old son of Chas. Blaze, Wapello, was found dead, evidently killed, in Barkoff's field, near bard yesterday. It seems he was helping thresh some kind of grain and was sent to a neighbor's house on horseback for a scoop shovel. Not returning a search was made for him. The horse was found in the field grazing. Near him was the saddle with the girth bridle and with it the boy, dead. He had three fractured ribs and the doctor thinks his back was broken. It is thought he was thrown from the horse and his neck broken or else the horse fell on him in such a way as to cause death.
