James Grimm died at his home near Indian Creek school house Tuesday morning January 4, 1897, of general debility. His age was 69 years. He was an industrious and successful German and leaves a fine farm of 200 acres. The funeral took place Wednesday morning, conducted by his old neighbors, Rev. Geo. Stone and Jesse Walker. The remains were laid to rest in the Indian Creek cemetery.
