Bard, Sept. 29 - Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bolton, Mr. Daniel Nichols, Sept. 25, 1896, aged 58 years, 3 months and 25 days. Dr. Younkin delivered a beautiful discourse from John 14 chapter and 12th verse. Mr. Nichols was an honest upright man; a true Christian and loved by all who knew him. He leaves one son and five daughters to mourn his loss. He was laid to rest by the side of his wife in Oakland cemetery.
