Died at her home in Columbus Junction on Nov. 28, 1895, Rosa A. McKean. Rosa A. Hoben was born June 29, 1865, in Louisa county, and was married to Albert McKean Nov. 21, 1883. Three children were born to them, one little girl dying at the age of three years. Two boys, Earl, aged seven years, six months; and Cecil, aged six years, survive her. Mrs. McKean has been in declining health for sometime, being afflicted with consumption, which finally earned her brief career. Mrs. McKean was a kind, affectionate, home-loving wife and mother and her husband and two bright boys have the sympathy of the community in this their irreparable loss. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. H. Fouse at her home. Interment at Foster's cemetery.
