John S. Paxon dead. Mr. Paxson was born in New Jersey on the 4th day of June 1827 and died at his home in Columbus Junction on June 25, 1895. He was married in 1848 in the state of Pennsylvania to Eliza H. Ut. Six children were born them, three of who survive, Robert, Frank and Minnie. Mr. Paxson was a member of Co. F. 25 Iowa Infty. Vols. His funeral occurs today from the M. E. church conducted by Rev. M J. Pusey and under the auspices of the G. A. R.
