Welsh neighborhood, Aug 28- Mr. William Owen died Sunday morning of old age, after a lingering illness, at the home of his son Joseph Owen. He was nearly eighty years of age and was born and spent most of his life in Wales. He was an earnest Christian, a member of the Congregational church. A large concourse of friends followed his remains to the Cambrian cemetery Monday. Revs. Williams, Johns and Evans conducted the services.
(2nd article same page) Died: at the residence of his son Joe, yesterday morning, Mr. William Owen aged 77 years. Our subject was born in Wales and has been a resident of this county 20 years.
