Boneratz Barger was born in Germany, July 14, 1811. He came to America in 1877, to Iowa in 1858. November 10, 1867, he was united in marriage to Mrs. Margaret Lintner. One son and two daughter were the result of this union. One of these children, a daughter, died some years ago. the other two children, a wife and three step-children remain to mourn the loss of the husband and father which occurred at his home in Concord township, May 18, 1892. The funeral occurred from the Cedar Bethel church, May 20, conducted by Rev. Chew, of this place.
