Died.

Joseph B. McDill at his home in Port Louisa township, Friday, August 7. He was an old settler, born in Randolph county, Illinois, In December, 1819. He leaves a wife, a son and several daughters to mourn his loss. His children all grown up. One daughter is the wife of W. L. Curtis, Concord township. Mr. McDill's death was caused by a cancerous growth on the face. He went with Dr. M. W. Lilly, to Chicago, this spring to seek surgical assistance but without avail. The funeral was held Monday. Burial at the Harrison cemetery.
