Our neighborhood was startled by the news of the sudden death of Mr. James Humphrey on last Tuesday night at about 10 o'clock. He was sick only a very short time. His daughter was the only person with him at the time, as help could not be got soon enough. He was eighty-three years old, and had been in poor health for some time. Rev. Campbell preached the sermon.
