Mrs. R. H. McKean, of Oakland township, died rather unexpectedly Monday afternoon. She was taken down with measles only the Thursday before. She had been up to Muscatine a short while before and while there was exposed to the disease that proved fatal in her case. A son living near Lone Tree is sick with the same disease.
