Samuel Hill an old citizen and an early settler died at his home in Oakland township, Tuesday morning, this week after a sickness of only two days. His age was about 70 years. He leaves his second wife, one son and three daughters to mourn his loss. the son, Frances, loves near Lone tree; one daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Gray, resides in Nebraska; the others Mrs. Isaac Harsh and Mrs. Martha Soloman, live in Oakland township. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Christian (Campbellite) church.
