OBITUARY.

William Russell Chandler, infant son of J. F. and Dora Chandler, died at the home of his parents, in Fredonia, Iowa January 25, 1891, after an illness of only four days, having cheered their home for but four short months and seventeen days. Especially is this bereavement sad, it being only a few months since the first born of these parents was taken away and this bereavement, leaving them childless, falls with a more crushing weight upon their home. But we feel assured that He who sacrificed His only Son that we might have eternal happiness will suffer no affliction to come upon us here only as blessings in disguise and we live in hope that a little while will reveal the wisdom of God in this. The funeral service took place in the M. E. church January 26, conducted by Rev. Chew. Many friends extended their deepest sympathy in this sad hour of affliction.
