The funeral of Elder Isaac Whisler took place from the Bethel church, near his old home, Tuesday. A very large concourse of his old friends and neighbors were in attendance. Services were conducted by Rev. Miller assisted by Revs Hollims and Vance. The interment was at the Indian creek cemetery on Wednesday, a days delay occurring to await the coming of his eldest daughter, Mrs. Fulton of Kansas. Mr. Whisler was an old resident of Louisa county, coming here from near Wooster, Ohio in 1853. He was highly respected while living and will be sadly missed.
