Died. - Mrs. Elizabeth Hancher, wife of Mr. John Hancher departed this life in Columbus Junction, Iowa, February 26th, 1889, aged 35 years, 6 months and 4 days. The subject of this notice was born in Tippecanoe county, Indiana, and when but one year old moved with her parents to Louisa county, Iowa where she spent the rest of her days. About two years ago she embraced religion since which time she lived a life of hope and trust and during the last three weeks of her sickness her triumph was great. Her affliction was long an severe, yet in the midst of all this she was patient and resigned. The kind friends who so faithfully attended her deserve much praise. With the many relatives she leaves a little boy and daughter and her lonely husband to mourn. May the Healer of hearts bind up these sorrowed ones.
