FATAL ACCIDENT.

News comes to us of a sad and fatal accident, Friday of last week, in which George Hank, a young man about eighteen years old lost his life. it sees that he was at work for James Pemble who had raised a crop of corn on the Kennedy farm. In the afternoon, two teams were going across to gather corn and were indulging in racing on the way. While near the residence of Daniel Graham, by some means the tongue to the wagon driven by young Hank flew out of the neck yoke and dropped to the ground, throwing the wagon and contents many feet in the air. Hank was picked up bleeding and senseless. On examination, he was found to be terribly wounded about the head and face, the lower jaw being broken in two or three places. Drs. Testiron and Grimes were sent for at once, but their services were of no avail. he never recovered consciousness, and died about 6 o'clock of the same evening. It was a sad blow to parents and friends.
