Died. - Sunday, August 11, 1888, at the residence of his son Herman, at Wapello, Henry Otto. Mr. Otto was born in Hanover, Germany, May 21, 1802, consequently was over 86 years of age at the time of his death. He came to this country in 1834, going first to Missouri and coming to this state in 1847, where he has since resided. He was the father of six children now living, three sons and three daughters. The former are John and Herman, of Wapello, and George, living in Burlington. The daughter are Mrs. Wagner, of Des Moines, Mrs. Fiegenbanm, of Clay Center, Kansas, and Mrs. Droegenmeyer, of Burlington. Mr. Otto had been a member of the German M. E. church for forty years. His death was the result of a paralytic stroke received a year and a half ago. the funeral is to occur at the german church at Wapello, to-day, Wednesday.
