Ronald Wagner Sr., 63, of Letts, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at his home in Letts. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Fr. Joseph Sia will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Bethel Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion Post 100 in Columbus Junction. Visitation for Ron will be Wednesday, July 31, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Ron. Sympathy notes may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Ronald William Wagner was born May 25, 1950 in Muscatine, the son of Harold and Helen (Shimack) Wagner. On July 25, 1970,

Ron married Patricia Honts in Muscatine. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, being outdoors, farming, and spending time with his grandkids.

Ron will be deeply missed by his son, Ronald Wagner Jr. and wife, Tricia of Letts; three grandchildren, Tyus, Sydni, and Trey; brother, Dan Wagner and wife, Connie, of Wapello; sister, Shirley McDonald and husband Steve, of Central City, Iowa.

Ron was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, and his wife, Patricia in 2010.
